SCHOOLS
Bring your class to enjoy some fun winter exercise in a 45-minute ice skating session, inclusive of a 15 minute structured ice skating lesson ‘First Steps to Skating’ with our Ice Coach, and exclusive use of the rink for groups of 20+.
Having welcomed hundreds of schools over the past 19 years, with many returning annually, the team Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland has a detailed understanding of the criteria required for school outings. To ensure these criteria are adhered to, we have structured our school-specific packages to give you, the teacher, the peace of mind needed to get your class skating.
Our school group package gives your pupils a magical and memorable winter activity, within a fun and safe environment.
A 15-minute structured ice-skating lesson ‘First Steps to Skating’ with our Ice Coach, and exclusive use of the rink for groups of 20+*. Children will learn basic skating skills, allowing them to enjoy a further 30-minute 'free skate' under the supervision of the Ice Coach with our Ice Marshals on hand to offer skating tips.
Price includes skate and helmet hire
All School groups will receive a safety briefing and leave with a certificate in recognition of their achievement on the ice.
Assurance that your pupils can skate within a fun and safe environment; helmets are mandatory in our structured lessons.
We welcome school groups of all ages and skating ability, with no minimum group size*.
Teacher goes free!
A child is 16 years and under.
*Structured lesson with exclusive use of the rink requires a minimum of 20 participants and a maximum of 30.

CLUBS
We welcome Clubs and Groups of all ages (up to and including age 16) and skating ability, providing a magical experience within a safe and fun environment. With our skilled Ice Marshals on hand at all times, groups can be supervised and offered skating tips, enabling them to get the most out of their time on the ice.
45 minutes skating on the ice under the supervision of our trained Ice Marshals, including skate hire and helmets if required.
Ticket price also applies to club leaders (age over 16).
Any club or group member under the age of 9 needs to have an adult on the ice with them.

PARENT + TODDLER TICKET
‘If they can walk, they can skate’ – that’s our motto! Our Parent and Toddler ticket offers:
45 minutes skating for one adult and one child aged 4 and under
Option for toddlers to use either our special double-bladed shoe attachments for extra stability on the ice (up to UK children’s shoe size 7) or skates from children’s size 7.
Free helmet hire if required
Trained Ice Marshals present on the ice throughout the session to offer guidance and assistance.
Children can benefit from the use of our fun Penguin stabilisers helping them to stay upright and enjoy their time on the ice. Penguins are available on a first come first served basis and cost £5.00 to hire for your session. They cannot be booked in advance, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Penguins have a strict height restriction of 1metre or below but for those skaters exceeding this height we can offer our Snowmen stabilisers (£5 hire, subject to availability).

It’s the perfect way to introduce your toddler to ice skating in a fun and safe environment, at our quieter mid-week sessions!
BIRTHDAY & SPECIAL OCCASION PARTY PACKAGES
What better way to celebrate a winter birthday or special occasion than with a visit to Yorkhire's Winter Wonderland!
Enjoy a 45-minute skating session with your fave friends, then head to The Chalet cafe to celebrate with your own reserved table and a variety of menu options to suit all tastes and budgets.
We can assist with your special requests for decorations and party hats to add that extra touch. We can even provide the birthday cake, or we're happy for you to bring your own.*
Then head to the funfair to enjoy the rides - there's something for everyone - and our game stalls offer a prize every time, so everyone goes home happy!
For over-18 birthdays, private parties or that special occasion our fully licensed bar offers beers, wines, spirits and prosecco so you can celebrate in style, and our Chalet menu offers a variety of winter-warming food.
Skating prices £14.95 for children (16 and under), £15.95 for adults, including skate and helmet hire.
Groups of 20 or more receive £1 off per ticket.
